PaceRide App

About the project

PaceRide is a RideSharing platform built specifically for special events, designed to make attending concerts, conventions, and festivals more seamless. The app connects event ticketing with transportation, allowing users to schedule rides as soon as they purchase tickets and match with other attendees traveling at the same time. My role focused on UI/UX design and brand identity, creating a visual system and user flow that made the service intuitive, trustworthy, and event-driven. The design emphasized clarity, accessibility, and a bold brand presence that reflects the excitement of live events.

Challenges & Solution

Challenge 1: Attendees often struggle to coordinate transportation for large events, leading to high surge fees, last minute booking stress, or unreliable rides after the event.

Solution: Attendees often struggle to coordinate transportation for large events, leading to high surge fees, last minute booking stress, or unreliable rides after the event.

Challenge 2: Carpooling options for events are limited, and riders miss opportunities to save money by traveling together.

Solution: PaceRide matches users based on pickup time and location, pairing them with others headed to the same venue. Users can reserve weeks in advance or even on the day of the event, with smart pairing that optimizes cost savings and convenience.

Challenge 3: Riders lack control over group size and space in current ride-sharing apps.

Solution: Our app tracks available seating in real time, allowing users to see how many riders are already in the car and choose whether to join a group ride or book a solo trip.

Challenge 4: Drivers miss out on the efficiency of scheduled, high-volume event rides.

Solution: Drivers can pre-schedule multiple trips to and from the same event, maximizing efficiency and earnings. By batching pickups and returns, they serve more riders per event with less downtime.
